I began studying somatic movement in 2008 in the context of a two-year conservatory training program in acting. From there I began studying yoga and Body-Mind Centering®. I taught yoga asana for several years, using the asana form as a vehicle for somatic movement practice in my work with youth, adults, and elders.

In 2018, I moved into a more intensive study of BMC® with a focus on developmental movement. In 2025, I became certified as an Infant Developmental Movement Educator and as a Somatic Movement Educator through the School for Body-Mind Centering®.

Much gratitude to Amy Matthews and Sarah Barnaby at Babies Project for their enormous contribution of knowledge and understanding to the field of developmental movement. Much of what I offer is grounded in their work.

Sessions and classes are offered in person in Portland, OR. Most offerings take place at a small studio in the Arbor Lodge neighborhood of North Portland.

My studies are ongoing and sharing my knowledge with others is a meaningful branch of my own learning.
